HVAC
The interior spaces are provided with fresh air naturally via operable windows and through the fresh air intakes of the packaged air conditioning units. Cooling is provided by individual water cooled packaged air conditioning units located on each floor. The units vary in size from 5 tons to 30 tons and have an estimated combined cooling capacity of 1,020 tons. Heating is provided by steam supplied by Con Edison and circulated to perimeter cast iron radiators.
